Kinderkunsthal – an international museum of children’s art

Our main objective is to exhibit creative work of children from all over the world. By collecting and exhibiting art of children, we hope to stimulate creativity development and arts education of children. That is desperately needed. At a young age to participate in arts and culture is essential for the development of the child, and it provides continuing opportunities to discover and develop their talents.

We wants to connect children with each other. Not only nearby but also in the city and across national borders. That connection cultivates mutual understanding between children. Thus they learn to cooperate and find appropriate answers to the questions that society now and in the future imposes on them.

There are hundred museums in an appealing location in Amsterdam, with a modern look where children and adults can feel at home. Kinderkunsthal beyond its own place to organise alternate locations exhibitions and activities depending on the theme and purpose.

What we do:

• organize a stage for diverse expressions of children’s art as singing, dancing, drama and recitation.
• bundling and distributing make and discuss expertise, knowledge and skills in the field of children’s art,
• encouraging and supporting all kinds of activities in the field of arts education.

What we exhibit:

• All kind of children’s art, such as drawing, painting, photographs and sculptures
• All kinds of creative expressions of children in the areas of drawing, painting, singing, dancing, writing, photography etc. The products can be developed at the school during a lesson, in a workshop or at home spontaneously without reason.
