Kids X Art = Children Art Hall
Please accept our invitation to participate in Kids X Art, The International Children’s Art Competition, is organized by Children Art Hall and XCultural Dialogue, the Amsterdam-based Association for Art and Culture.
Children Art Hall aims to empower the opportunity for children from all over the world to showcase their artistic expressions. We wants to encourage the development of creativity and the arts education of children. We are serious about the artistic expressions from children around the world. That we also wants to contribute to the world where people have respect for children expressions and want to take responsibility for what is of value and consider the vulnerability of children.
Competition Rules and Submission Guidelines
- The Competition is opened to children from 3 to 18 years, in eight categories: 3-4 years old, 5-6 years old, 7-8 years old, 9-10 years old, 11-12 years old, 13-14 years old, 15-16 years old and 17-18 years old.
- Each Contestant should submit one drawing only.
- The drawing should be original, creative, and unassisted. It should be in 2-dimensional and can be drawn or painted in pencil, pen, charcoal, crayon, ink, oil paint, pastels, water color, gouache, acrylics, poster color, colored pencils, scratchboard, color marker, chalk, collage and any other drawing techniques. We cannot accept drawing done using plain black pencil or weak colored pencil. Each drawing should have only one author; collective works will not be accepted.
- The drawing should not exceed 210mm x 297mm (A4 size), it can be in horizontal or vertical format, and should not be mounted or framed.
- All drawings should be sent to us on or before May 31, 2018.
Results and Awards
- The jury will review all the drawings and select the Laureates of the Competition before June 30, 2018. Result will be announced on July 16, 2018. Laureates’ drawings will enter an exposition and will be exhibited in the digital gallery at Children Art Hall.
- Certificates of Recognition will be awarded to contestant of selected drawings.
- Certificates of Appreciation will be awarded to contestant of outstanding drawings.
- Award of Joint Participation will be awarded to School and Cultural Institution (Art studio, group, club or team).
- Award of Excellent Collection will be awarded to School and Cultural Institution (Art studio, group, club or team) for its outstanding collection.
- Selected drawings will be displayed on Children Art Hall’s website and Facebook page, and will feature on the Children Art Hall’s brochure and publication, which will be distributed widely at Kinderkunsthal and its collaborations.
